
Ohaneze Youth Council, the Igbo youth apex socio-cultural Organization led by Comrade Igboayaka has called on president Muhammadu Buhari to grant presidential pardon to all detained Pro-Biafrans.
Following the live speech made by the country’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, as the nation marked her 60th Independence anniversary, the National President of the Council, Comrade Igboayaka appealed to the Nigeria president to prove critics wrong by freeing detained supporters of Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB and other Pro-Biafran detainees.
The communique signed by the OYC National President, Comrade Igboayaka, after a strategic meeting in Abuja, stated that the most challenging factor for Nigeria even as the country marks its 60th Independence anniversary, is her internal freedom, Peace and love.
He maintained that It is historic that among the 13 heads of State/President that have governed Nigeria, all of them lack one fundamental leadership skill which is the ability to Unite Nigeria.
The youth leader further observed the happenings in Nigeria, especially marginalization which include not respecting federal character, injustice, wickedness, hate, extra-judicial killing and large oppressive government against Ndigbo and other minor ethnicity in Nigeria, stressing the need to address the anomalies.
