
Ohaneze Ndigbo has praised the ongoing community development projects in the South East, emphasizing the significance of self-help initiatives for regional development.
Acting National Youth Leader, Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, commended individuals and groups for their commitment to the region’s well-being, highlighting the role of such efforts in addressing unemployment and youth restiveness.
Speaking in Awka, Okpalaezeukwu noted the commendable projects during the Yuletide celebrations, emphasizing that Ndigbo’s commitment to community development reflects the long-standing tradition of taking charge of their destiny. He applauded the initiative as a positive step toward creating a livable society and urged youths to protect the infrastructure for the overall well-being of the people.
The youth leader also emphasized the importance of non-kinetic approaches in addressing insecurity, stating that gainful engagements for youths reduce the likelihood of criminal activities. He called for the protection of both government and privately-owned projects in communities for the benefit of all.
