The town of Oko witnessed another influx of people from all corners of the state and beyond as Dr. Childozie Wilson Nwankwo’s Kingdom Care Foundation annual charity outreach entered day 2.

Day 2 of the outreach was scheduled to benefit the men just as the first day was for the women. Among the beneficiaries were people with disabilities, the elderly, youth and children.

Addressing the mammoth crowed that beseeched venue of the distribution, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo narrated how the idea of the yearly palliative distribution started 34 years ago with just few bags of rice and has expanded to its present state. He reiterated the faithfulness of God upon his life and urged the crowed to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior as life is meaningless outside Christ. He led a sizable number of the crowed to Christ and admonished them to remain in Christ and help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ where ever they are. He went further to motivate the crowed by narrating the story of his humble beginning as a trader in Onitsha main market, positing that with hardwork, diligence and God greatness is achievable. He emphasized that charity or philanthropy is his divine calling and God has been the One sustaining him all these years.

The joy of the beneficiaries knew no bound as they prayed for him and promised to support him in his political journey.
Some of the beneficiaries that were interviewed echoed that the yearly palliative distribution by Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo’s Kingdom Care Foundation has become a life saver, being a major hope for a memorable Christmas celebration for them and their families.
Items distributed were Bags of Rice, Packet Shirts, High Target Wrappers, Cartons of Noodles and Books.
The program is scheduled to run for three days.
