On Foreign News,

Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 43 Palestinians on Sunday as ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas reached a deadlock.

Gaza’s civil defence said the dead include 11 people at a Gaza City market and 10 others, including eight children, at a water point in Nuseirat camp.

Israel attributed the Nuseirat strike to a technical error while targeting an Islamic Jihad member.

Talks in Doha for a 60-day ceasefire and hostage release remain stalled, with both sides blaming each other.

Hamas demands full Israeli withdrawal, while Israel reportedly plans to retain control over parts of Gaza.

The conflict, which began in October 2023, has killed over 58,000 Palestinians and 1,219 people in Israel.

Meanwhile, humanitarian agencies warn of worsening conditions due to severe fuel shortages.
