Parents, student face prosecution for assaulting principal, teacher — Ogun commissioner

From Ogun State, is the incident involving a student from Agbara Grammar School who will soon be charged to court for assaulting na teacher in school . SS3 student Akanni Olawale and his parents allegedly assaulted a teacher It started when the principal seized Olawale’s uniform for alleged misbehavior and because he registered for exams elsewhere.

Despite attempts to explain, Olawale’s parents attacked the principal, with Olawale himself assaulting a teacher.

The Commissioner for Education, Prof Abayomi Arigbabu, confirmed the incident and stated that legal action will be taken against the student and parents, emphasizing the need to deter such behavior.

The Chairman of Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, Ogun State chapter, Seun Agbesanwa, condemned the incident and called for appropriate sanctions.
