Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC), has passed away at the age of 67. The Lagos-based preacher, according to a message shared on the church’s Facebook page on Tuesday evening, died in the United States on Monday.
The announcement from The Fountain of Life Church Family expressed their submission to the divine will, revealing that Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, the Founding Pastor of the church, had departed on August 7, 2023, in the USA.
The specific cause of his passing was not disclosed.
The sad event occurs less than two years after the death of his South African wife, Nomthi Odukoya, at the age of 47 on November 9, 2021. Nomthi, originally named Rosemary Simangele Zulu, had been married to the Nigerian pastor for 11 years. Their marriage, produced two sons.
Tragedy had previously struck Pastor Taiwo Odukoya when his first wife, Pastor Bimbo, lost her life in the tragic Sosoliso crash of 2005.
