Former Governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi has expressed his gladness over Pope Francis’s appointment of Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu as the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations Office and Specialized Institutions in Geneva.
Archbishop Nwachukwu was also appointed as Permanent Observer to the World Trade Organization and the Representative of the Vatican to the International Migrations Organization.

He also said the new positions are critical to the church and also the global community.
Obi prayed that he will continue to contribute to policies that will promote global economies, restore the dignity of man and lead men closer to God. He also appreciated Pope Francis
