Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has emphasized that the primary concern for Nigerians should be surviving the current economic hardship rather than focusing on the next elections.
Speaking to party supporters during a solidarity visit organised by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter to the National Chairman of the LP, Julius Abure, at the party’s National Secretariat, in Abuja, on Tuesday, Obi stressed that political parties only matter if Nigeria survives. He urged everyone to prioritize the welfare and security of citizens over electoral politics.
He said that everyone should ensure the survival of the country.
