Peter Umeadi Presidential Ambition Recieves A Boost As Association of Past President Generals Endorse His Candidacy

As 2023 General election in the Country draws near, Professor Peter Umeadi ambitions to take over from President Muhammad Buhari may have received a boost as the Association of Past President Generals across the South East Geopolitical Zone in the country has unanimously endorsed his candidacy citing his proven track record as a former Chief Judge of Anambra State and in his Judiciary Carreer.

The event which held at Chief Umeadi Compound, Obu di Egwu Avenue, in Nri town, Aniocha Council Area of Anambra state, had in attendance some key government officials, Politicians, pressure groups Including the Traditional Ruler of Isiagu Community in Awka South Council Area of Anambra state, His Royal Highness, Igwe Austin Nwankwo.

In his message as contained in the citation by the group, the National President of the Association, Mazi Omife I. Omife, highlighted that Prof Peter Umeadi is a True true Nigerian with preliquisite Courage, Integrity, Education, an Igbo Advocate with threshold of Global exposure, and a true Igbo son who will reform the turbulent economy of the country, calls on its members in all the autonomous communities of the Southeast region to spread the message of the resolution and endorsement to ensure total support of all Igbo.

Chief Omife added it is long overdue that Nigeria as country produces a President of Igbo’s origin adding that Igbo have proven they are committed to the unity and development of the country as evidenced in their investment a cross the nation.

Chief Omife, also urged various political parties in Igbo land to reach out to Professor Umeadi for possible adoption as their Presidential Candidate adding that any Political party that adopts him will be sure of all the support of over 2000 communities accross Igbo land.

Concluding, Mbuze Mbaukwu urges all Igbos irrespective of political affiliation to support the endorsement of Proffessor Umeadi, as his candidacy will make the Igbo nation proud.

According to our Correspondent Udoka Nwokoye, a highly elated Professor Umeadi while responding, said he was overwhelmed at the endorsement of over 2000 elected Community leader across southeast region saying his ambition to reposition Nigeria has received a boost with that resolution.

He said, if elected, he will collectively harness the effort and efforts of Nigerians in repositioning the country in the next four years and that he hereby accept the endorsement.

On his part Dr. Patrick Enuneku, the President National Forum For South East Presidency said with the event of today 15th January 2021, the Igbo man has proven that she is ready for the Number one job in the country.

While Congratulating the former Chief Judge of the State on the endorsement, he pointed out that one problem Nigeria as country has been facing is bad economy, but assured that the Igbo man has the the natural endowment to tackle and manage the nation’s struggling economy.

Other persons who spoke including Hon. Bassey O. Effiom from Akwaibom State, who is the President, United Front For Southeast Presidency also congratulated Chief Umeadi appealing that Igbo man has contributed immensely to the development of the nation and should, as matter of equity, fairness and justice , be given the opportunity to take over from President Buhari come 2023.

It is worthy to note that Prof. Peter Umeadi, an accomplished Former President , world Association of Judges under the auspices of World Jurists Association, has declared his intention to run for the number one position in the country on the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance.

Other high point of the event were the historic hand over of the Endorsement Documents by Executives of the Past President General of South East region lead by the National President, group photograph and merriments.
