The Nigeria Police Force has declared a British national, Andrew Wynne, and a Nigerian, Lucky Obiyan, wanted for allegedly plotting to overthrow the democratically elected government of President Bola Tinubu.
Addressing journalists in Abuja on Monday, the Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, accused the British national of building a network of sleeper cells to cause chaos and topple the government.
Adejobi said Wynne also known as Andrew Povich, and his local coordinator, Obiyan, had fled the country.
Adejobi also said Wynne provided finance and operational guidance to allegedly topple an elected government in the country.
He revealed that Documentary evidence and confessions also revealed that Andrew Wynne issued directives, monitored progress, and provided finance and operational guidance to achieve unconstitutional regime change in Nigeria.
