Police In Edo Discover Ten Male Dead Bodies
Police in Edo State say they have recovered about ten lifeless male bodies along a bush part in Ibillo- Lampese Road, Lagos – Abuja Expressway, Edo State.
In a Press Release, the Edo state Police Public Relations Officer, SPy Chidi Nwabuzor, said the bodies were recovered on Tuesday after credible intelligence was made available to the operatives of the Ibillo Divisional Headquarters of the command.
The PPRO said the Divisional Police Officer, mobilized officers alongside hunters, and vigilantes to the scene where the bodies were recovered.
He said preliminary investigation was conducted and photographs of the dead bodies taken, adding that the corpses were searched and examined but no noticeable mark of violence or materials that may lead to identifying them.
“Investigation was also extended to the Fulani / Hausa Communities and the indigenous communities who came, examined corpses and declared that the dead bodies were not natives or their vigilantes.
The release further disclosed that the dead bodies have been deposited at the Ibillo General Hospital Mortuary for preservation and forensic investigation.
