
President, Ohaneze Anambra, Udodeme Commends Senator Umeh for Contributions To Igbo Agenda
The President, Ohaneze Ndigbo Anambra State Chapter, Prince Emeka Udodeme, has commended Senator Victor Umeh for his numerous contributions to the Igbo nation and Nigeria at large.
Prince Udodeme who led the group that made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Senator, extolled his doggedness in championing the course of Ndigbo throughout his political career.
Prince Udodeme appealed to the elder statesman who served in the Eight Senate to assist in nurturing the younger ones through his wisdom, insight and wealth of experience.
The National Vice President, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Association of Town Unions, Anambra State, Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, described Senator Umeh as a star and an outstanding figure of Igbo descent, and encouraged Igbo youths to emulate heroes from Igboland who have achieved great feats in their various chosen careers.
Responding, Senator Umeh said he was elated by the visit, noting that only an inclusive system of governance can bring lasting peace and progress in Nigeria.
He urged Ndi Anambra to stick to the path of progress that has been established by Governor Willie Obiano’s administration.
The occasion was attended by the representatives of various Communities in Igbo land.
