Coach of French football side, Paris Saint-Germain, Mauricio Pochettino has tested positive for Covid-19.
This was made known in a statement by the French Champions on Friday.
The 48-year-old Argentine and former Tottenham coach was just 2 weeks into his role as the PSG coach and has overseen 3 PSG games so far, since taking up the job from Thomas Tuchel.
The club in a post on Twitter further said they will respect isolation and will undergo the appropriate health protocols.
His assistants Jesus Perez and Miguel D’Agostino will take charge of the team for Saturday’s trip to Angers.
Recall that 3 PSG players, Brazilian Rafinha, German player Thilo Kehrer and French youth international Colin Dagba had tested positive for the virus last week.
