Ramadan: Wike donates 10,000 bags of rice to Abuja community

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has distributed 10,000 bags of rice to Muslim groups in Abuja as part of the FCT Administration’s annual Ramadan support.

Speaking in Gwagwalada on Monday, Wike, represented by his Chief of Staff, Chidi Amadi, said the gesture aims to assist religious groups and vulnerable residents. Other beneficiaries include FCT-graded chiefs and welfare associations.

FCTA Director of Protocol, Sani Daura, emphasized that the initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to residents’ welfare, especially during festive periods. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, describing the support as timely and thoughtful.
