
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Anambra State, said at about 8.45am yesterday, a serious lone Road Traffic Crash involving a white coloured Toyota Hiace Bus with registration number FGG357ZD was reported to have occurred near Ausco Fuel Station, along Awka-Enugu expressway.

An eyewitness said the driver of the bus was on top speed when he lost control of the vehicle, resulting to the crash.
According to the Sector Public Education Officer, RC Pascal Anigbo, the vehicle completely veered off the road, crossed the gutter and settled face down, in a ditch.
RC Anigbo informed that a total of Three male adults were involved in the crash, while Two sustained some degrees of injury,
No death was however, recorded.
He disclosed that the injured victims were rushed to an unknown hospital by good Nigerians, before the arrival of the FRSC rescue team from Anambra State Sector Command, Awka.
Consequently, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Anambra State, CC Andrew Kumapayi, has again strongly warned drivers against driving above recommended speed limits.
He advised that drivers should drive defensively and apply common sense speed limits, especially within built-up areas and be mindful of slippery road surfaces, due to the rainy season.
