The residents and people of Anambra state, especially those that ply Isiagu/ Ring road have called on the state and federal government and security agencies to intervene and stop the incessant kidnapping of citizens on that route.
According to sources the kidnappers are usually positioned at the point Nigeria Army set up as their check point, which they no longer use.
Last week Friday , the kidnappers kidnapped two people from that route at about 5:pm and demanded for ransom before the victims were released.
Ndi Anambra thereby, call on the state government and security agencies to set up security check points along Nibo- Isiagu -Ring road to Awka in Awka south local government to stop the menace of the marauding arms men while pleading with Governor Charles Soludo to take immediate action.
