
The former majority leader and immediate past deputy Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Barr. Harford Ikechukwu Oseke has congratulated the lawmaker representing Awka South 2 in the State’s House on his one year in office describing his stay in the last 365 days as excellent.
Rt. Hon Harford who made this known during his historic appearance in Kpakpando 101.9 fm’s audience participatory program , *Wednesday* *Politics* ‘ , said Hon.Chuma Okoye has done so well in articulating, sponsoring and passing into law most of the challenges facing Awka South two which according to him are purely ‘Obizi-oriented’ challenges and at the same time has equally facilitated a lot of employment of Ndi Obizi into state’s civil service in just 365 days of being in charge.
While commending Hon.Chuma for the way and manner he responded to the plights of poorest of the poor and vulnerable including non indigenes resident in Obizi constituency during this lockdown occasioned by covid-19 , he charged Ndi Obizi to adhere strictly to all NCDC and WHO directive towards curbing the spread of the disease maintaining that the food items and sanitisers that Hon. Okoye distributed, no matter how small they may be in quantity, would go a long way in ameliorating the sufferings of the poor.
Concerning Anambra 2021, the Immediate past Deputy Speaker noted that in interest of equity, fairness and justice , Anambra South Senatorial zone should produce the next Governor of the State come 2021, revealing that rotational arrangement in politics if properly chattered in the constitution, would help in reducing cost of electioneering.
