Save and Secure the Child Initiative, Anambra State Chapter has been inaugurated

Save and Secure the Child Initiative ( Anambra State Chapter)also known as the Campaign Against Child Abuse In Nigeria has been inaugurated.
The event took place at the premises of Anambra State Broadcasting Service, Awka recently.

The group is made up of volunteers, solely driven and united by their altruistic passion to give the Nigerian Child a voice against the incessant abuse they pass through in the hands of adults.

In the opening remarks by the inaugurator of the of the initiative, Rotarian Blaize Nnaedozie, he thanked the volunteers for coming out as one body to defend the voiceless abused children out in the streets.

In his speech, the state principal of the group, Rotarian Kingsley Obi thanked God for the success of the event as well as all those that graced the occasion.

In their separate speeches; Rotarian Paul Anaezeofor, Rotarian Nneka Aniemena and Rotarian Ngozi Nwojiekeh advised the caregivers to always take proper care of their children especially the girl child.

Highlights of the event was drama by Pupil of Bethel-Piothel Nursery Primary School, Amenyi Awka.
