
Tragedy struck in Agulu, Aniocha Council Area of Anambra State on Tuesday, 25th May 2021, when the security guard attached to the former Commissioner for Parks and Markets, Chief Sylvester Nwobu-Alor, was stabbed to death for reasons not yet known.
Our Correspondent, Linda Chukwu, reports that the name of the Security man is Mr Romanus, a father of two, whose wife is pregnant with the third child.
She revealed that Mr Romanus was killed by one Mr. Chijioke Onyekaonwu from Amatutu Village, Agulu, following misunderstanding they had at Nwagu Agulu, and explained that no one could give details of what transpired between them as the culprit, Chijioke fled after committing the Murder.

The Caretaker President General, Agulu People’s Assembly, Honourable Onyebuchi Okpala, who confirmed the incident in a telephone interview, revealed that he is investigating the matter while efforts are also being made to apprehend the culprit.
In the meantime, a team of Police men from Neni Police Division has visited the scene and evacuated the body which has been deposited in a mortuary for autopsy and further investigations.
