Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has said he will stand surety for the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu if the federal government will release him. He said that he can keep Nnamdi Kanu in his compound and counsel him as they have a long running relationship because he was the one that made Kanu’s father a traditional ruler .
This was reported via a recorded television program that was aired on Channels television on Tuesday .
Recall that federal the government is yet to release Nnamdi Kanu after the court of appeal in Abuja struck out the terrorism charge against him.
