Senator Victor Umeh Funded My Education From SS1 Till My First Degree — Miss Ijeoma Okeke

A recent graduate of Senator Victor Umeh Education Foundation (VUMEF), Miss Ijeoma Okeke has extolled the , Distinguished Senator Victor Ume for such initiatives which has seen many children from poor homes fulfilling their aspirations the foundation through the scholarship program of the charity organization.

Miss Ijeoma Okeke who recently graduated from the department of Human Anatomy Department , Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Igbariam, courtesy of the Senator Education Foundation, disclosed that the former Senator had adopted her from Senior Secondary Class One (SS1) from where he took over from her parents and catered for school tuitions and other college fees until her graduation.

She however to prayed that God will continue to bless and protect Senator Umeh and his wife, Lady Prisca Umeh for the opportunity they availed her and hundreds of other students under the foundation.

On her part, the elder sister of the graduand, Miss Nkiruka Okeke told journalist that their family is grateful to the former Anambra Central senator for coming up with such a people oriented policy which according to her, has brought hope to the family.
