Situation Reports In Anambra, And Across The Country On Saturday’s Election
Situation reports across the country notes that while the Saturday’s election was peaceful seamless, in some areas across Anambra state, there were issues in certain areas.
Such issues bothered on late arrival of INEC Officials and voting materials.
It was observed that as at 10am, INEC officials were yet to arrive some polling units. Also, it was also observed that BVAS were either too slow, or refused to work, leaving voters stranded and confused.
Some reports in parts of the country also spoke of thugs working for some politicians allegedly preventing some Igbo people from voting.
Such States include Lagos, Rivers and Bayelsa. The report said some prospective voters angrily left the polling booths.
It was also reported that some polling units did not have scoring sheets for the presidential election, while in some other place, the Labour Party Logo was missing on the Ballot Papers.
