Speaking at the Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna on Friday, Assudany cautioned that the protest could be hijacked by interests harmful to the country. Drawing from Sudan’s experience, where protests starting in December 2018 led to prolonged unrest and a 2019 coup, Assudany emphasized the potential for external manipulation.

He urged Nigerian youth not to let enemies exploit their grievances, highlighting that similar protests in Sudan and other Muslim countries had devastating consequences.

Assudany’s remarks were shared on the Facebook page of Ahmad Gumi, who hosted him.
