
Super Eagles players had their first training session yesterday evening at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin city.
Ahead of Friday’s clash against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, 16 players took part in the training session which lasted for an hour.
Head Coach of the team Gernot Rohr supervised the session along with assistant coaches Joseph Yobo, Nabil Trabelsi and fitness coach Jean Luc Roger.
The trio of Maduka Okoye, Sebastian Osigwe and Ikechukwu Ezenwa were drilled by goalkeeper trainer , Alloy Agu.
According to reports, Edo state deputy governor Phillip Shuaibu also took part in the training session .
More players are expected in camp today, after which they will train twice behind closed doors.
Among the 16 players in camp are Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Kevin Akpoguma, Kelechi Iheanacho.
