Taraba Troops Nab Owner of Abandoned Vehicle Carrying Arms

Troops in Taraba State have arrested the owner of an abandoned vehicle in Bantaje, Wukari Local Government Area, after discovering an AK-47 rifle hidden inside.
The driver fled into the bush, leaving behind a Blue Toyota Yaris.

Acting Army spokesperson, Captain Olubodunde Oni, confirmed the arrest of the vehicle’s owner, Mallam Abubakar Adamu, on September 8.

During interrogation, Adamu admitted to sending the driver to transport the weapon. The Commander of 6 Brigade, Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa, praised the troops for their efforts and urged the public to continue providing intelligence to aid security operations.
