The House of Representatives has advanced four tax reform bills, transmitted by President Bola Tinubu in 2024, to the next legislative stage after passing the second reading on Wednesday.
The bills—the Nigeria Tax Bill 2024, Tax Administration Bill, Nigeria Revenue Service Establishment Bill, and Joint Revenue Board Establishment Bill—stem from recommendations by the Taiwo Oyedele-led Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee.
