The end of the year party and grand reunion of the classmates of SAVIOBOSCO 91/96 set took place over the weekend.
The set is made up students that entered that seminary the same year.
The reunion was held on 30th Dec 2022 at Sam Rosey hotel and suite with a Eucharistic mass said by Father Ronald Victor Okoli. He advised parents to always train their children in the fear of God.
The chairman of the group and the CEO, Sam Rosey hotels and suite, Sir John Okafor popularly known as Obili ijele oma ,in his opening speech said that SAVIOBOSCO 91/96 set reunion has always been a time to gather an see each other.
Rev. Fr. Clifford Aniefuna and the vice rector and later rector at St. Dominic Savio seminary Akpu and Rev. Fr. Anthony Ezeoke. who was the rector at St John Bosco seminary isuaniocha and Rev. Fr. Clifford Aniefuna, the vice rector and later rector at St. Dominic Savio seminary Akpu thanked God for their efforts in gathering their members together. They were given some incentives to appreciate them for the way they took care of them in the seminary school.
Some of the old boys in diaspora including Barrister Chijioke Mmaduabuchi the CEO Vim Ignis Nig Ltd, Rev. Fr Innocent Ifeanyi Umezika among others who are members of the SAVIOBOSCO 91/96 set joined the reunion via zoom.
Nze Bernard and Mrs Virginia Maduabuchi, parents to one of them, Barrister Chijioke Maduabuchi, also came as special guests to grace the event.
The event was a heart warming one because it gave them the opportunity of meeting each other after some years of being apart.
Highlights of the event were introduction of the members present during the event and also those in diaspora that joined through zoom, entertainment from Ezenkwa, eating and lots of gifts were shared to the children of the members of the group.
