The journey to secure re-election as the federal lawmaker representing Awka North and South Federal Constituency in the green chambers, on Thursday 7th April 2022, received a massive boost and support as the Peoples’ Democratic Party Ward and Local Government executives in the federal constituency, unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the quality representation of Rep. Sam Chinedu Onwuaso, at the National Assembly.
Amidst cheers, the party officers extolled Rep. Onwuaso for his performance and achievements at the Green chambers which they described as uncommon, unprecedented, and rare within the political history of the Federal Constituency.
They further commended Rep. Onwuaso, describing him as a grassroots oriented lawmaker citing his open-door policy, the strength of character, and absolute loyalty to the party and constituents, and endorsed his re-election bid and efforts which they said were aimed at consolidating his legislative gains in the constituency ahead of 2023 general polls.
Reacting to the endorsement, Rep. Onwuaso while presenting his nomination and expression of interest forms to the party officers, registered his gratitude to them for their words of encouragement and also being supportive of his legislative activities.
He maintained that his driving force to forge ahead has always been God and the solidarity and support from the people of Awka North and South federal constituency.
He assured them that he is ever committed to sustaining various recorded gains, at the same time Securing a brighter future for Ndi Awka North and South, placing the federal constituency in the national limelight.
