The NLO Berackaih Coaching clinic which held in Anambra has come to an end.

The secretary of the Anambra football association, Mr Chijoke Onyedika presented certificates to about 13 coaches who participated in the event, while charging them to go far with the knowledge impacted in them.

During the interactive session with Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, senior instructor, Coach Alphonsus Dike said he was delighted because the clinic will expose the players at the grassroots and equally help to transform the players and acquaint them with the basic knowledge of football which will help them mature as good players to in order to play for the premiership clubs within and outside the country. He maintained that the emphasis was usually on the rudiments of the game and basic skills and techniques and was happy the coaches turned up for the course.

Speaking to our correspondent Marvelous Ezenwa, one of the participants who is Aspire coach, Obinna, thanked God for a successful coaching course and emphasized that the knowledge planted in them is addition and opportunities for them as young coaches that will one day coach in more competitive leagues and clubs. He expressed their readiness to carry out what they leant to the field of play and to the players. He also thanked his club management and MD of Aspire FC.

Recall that the NLO League One coaching clinic was sponsored by Aspire FC /Aspire Foundation and ANSFCOA.

The instructors include former National Under 17 Team Coach, Coach Victor Nwakamma, Professor Alphonsus Dike

Also in attendance were Aspire FC Team Manager, Mr Austin Okoye, General manager Udala FC Henry as well as representatives of Anambra State Football Club Owners Association among others.
