The Second Oldest Igwe In Anambra, H.R.M Igwe P. N Anugwu, Marks 79th Birthday In Grand Style*

In a remarkable celebration of heritage and longevity, His Majesty, Igwe P. N Anugwu, Ezeukwu Mbaukwu, the second oldest Igwe in Anambra, marked his 79th birthday with a grand celebration on Wednesday, the 27th of December, 2023.
The celebration took place in the Opulent Palace of Igwe P. N Anugwu, Ezeukwu Mbaukwu.
Born on December 27, 1944, on Otite day to the esteemed family of late Ichie Anugwu Ubou and Mama Nnono Anugwu, Igwe P. N Anugwu expressed gratitude to God for the blessings that have accompanied his journey from birth.
In a heartfelt speech, the Monarch narrated his life’s journey as a testament to God’s grace, expressing thankfulness for witnessing yet another birthday and beseeching the Almighty for more years ahead.
The celebration was graced by the presence of dignitaries, including the Obi of Onitsha, HRH Igwe Alfred Achebe, who commended the Royal Father for his unwavering dedication to the protection and promotion of Igbo culture.
Describing him as a king blessed in all ramifications, Igwe Achebe praised Igwe Anugwu’s sincerity and dogged effort in leading an exemplary life.
The occasion was further blessed by the presence of the Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and the Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim, who showered prayers on the traditional ruler
Bishop Ibezim fervently asked God to grant the Igwe more strength and long life to continue his God-ordained rule in the land of Mbaukwu.
Family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered to honor the traditional ruler.
H.R.M Igwe Peter Nwokike Anugwu JP OFR, also known as Eze Ka Eze, Igwe Ka Igwe, Igwe Amosu, holds the prestigious position of Chairman at Orient Petroleum Ltd and Julius Berger Services Nigeria Ltd. He serves on the boards of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, International Breweries Plc, The World Conference of Mayors, Inc., and Interfact Beverages Ltd. Additionally, he is a member of the Anambra State Elders Council and the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council.
