The Super Eagles of Nigeria’s clash against Tunisia in the round of 16 of the ongoing African cup of nations will be a very different game because the Tunisians are technically very good and fast
This was the view shared by Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen while speaking ahead of the face-off between both teams on Sunday (January 23),
Eguaveon noted that despite the poor performance of Tunisia so far in the tournament, they are still a strong team and playing in the knock-out stage will be a different ball game for them, having narrowly qualified.
He however noted that the Eagles were equally preparing to be at their best for the game so as to emerge victorious.
The Tunisians, who lost two of their three group fixtures and only managed to finish as one of the third best placed teams to qualify for the round of 16 are to play the Nigeria – who on their part, won all three group games and have been tipped to favourites to win the tournament.
