A Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Anslem Ijebor has expressed confidence that former Ebonyi State Governor Senator David Umahi, now the Minister of Works, will address the nation’s road issues. Ijebor praised Umahi’s background as an eight-year governor and his expertise as an engineer.
Speaking in Lafia on Friday, Ijebor emphasized President Bola Tinubu’s careful and even divinely guided selection of Umahi to tackle the country’s infrastructure challenges.
Ijebor remarked that Umahi’s selection was based on his merit as a competent and knowledgeable engineer, highlighting a shift from traditional practices.
It is believed that Umahi’s previous efforts in Ebonyi State showcased his ability to bring about significant development, and Ijebor believed that Umahi’s skills would contribute to bridging political and social divides and creating infrastructural progress nationwide.
