Update on COVID-19 shows that on 7th October 2020, 155 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria.

Report published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, till date, 59,738 cases have been confirmed in the country.

Of this figure, 51,403 cases have been discharged, while 1,113 deaths have also been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

According to NCDC, the 155 new cases were reported from 8 states-

Lagos (84), Rivers (31),
Kaduna (12), Osun (10),
FCT (7), Oyo (6),
Ogun (3), and Kwara (2)
