The 326 PDP women leaders and 326 Ward Secretaries across Anambra were on Thursday, 3rd June 2021 hosted by Chief Valentine Ozigbo – the front line governorship aspirant under the people’s Democratic Party(PDP).
Speaking at the meeting, the PDP women leader Comrade Justina Nwafor noted that Anambra state desired fast change in Governance and to that effect pleaded with PDP women to make and chose their candidate wisely, adding that with their successes in Industry, Education, banking and other sectors, PDP will effect the much needed change and good Governance.
In his address, Mr Ozigbo noted that in order to ensure cohesiveness and enhance effective conflict resolutions, the important role played by traditional institutions and communities could not be ignored, noting that his government, like it was already promoting, will ensure a consensus with traditional rulers, youth groups, women groups and other key stakeholders.
He noted that besides attracting foreign investment – which is key to the achievement of his vision for Anambra state, his long and successful career in global banking and international business will also contribute to the creation of economic growth and opportunities for all, strategic partnerships, including building and repairing of relationships with progressive donor agencies and creating an enabling environment that will attracts climate for business investments.
