28yr Old Kills, Butchers His Father Anglican Priest, Chases Mother In Delta

A 28-year-old boy, Ufuoma Umurie, at about 2am on Wednesday, butchered and killed his father, Rev. Isaac Umurie, a serving Priest with St. John’s Anglican Church, Okpare-Olomu Community in Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.
The suspect also chased his mother with the cutlass he used to kill his father.
Reports have it that the skull of the deceased and other body parts were mutilated.
The incident caused serious tension within the community.
Details as to why the deceased killed his father were still sketchy at the time of this report.
The suspect has been arrested and handed over to the Police, Otu-Jeremi Division.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent confirmed the report.
He said the suspect will be prosecuted in line with the laws of Nigeria.
