The Anambra governorship election is less than 3 days away but the choice Ndi Anambra needs to make has never been this clearer. Anambra State simply needs Dr Chidozie Nwankwo to arrest its descent to a failed state. Dr Chidozie Nwankwo, who is the governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) has demonstrated that he is about the only candidate in this governorship race capable of providing true leadership for Ndi Anambra. This fact was further reinforced by the performance and utterances of the candidates of the three political parties Ndi Anambra will do well to avoid, in a sectional debate organized for them by Arise TV.
If there was anything that was exposed in that debate, it’s the fact that these people are utterly unprepared for the transformational governance Anambra desperately needs. Dr Chidozie Nwankwo explained his infrastructural renaissance plan which revolves around a rapid but systemic revamp of our comatose infrastructure.
He also unveiled concrete plans to herald a real industrial revolution that will lead to massive job and wealth creation in Anambra and also talked about practical plans geared towards the provision of affordable housing, potable water supply and sanitation, a robust healthcare delivery system, a vibrant and standard educational sector, food security, and so many other areas critical to the success of the New Anambra project.
Ndi Anambra, the era where we are beholden to a select group of political parties, especially those who put us in this mess, is over. It is time we changed direction and look to a man of impeccable character and integrity who is not a typical political operator who sees politics as a business venture instead of a call to service. Currently, the only man that fits this description is Dr Chidozie Nwankwo. He will rejig the governance framework in Anambra State and with his decades of experience in business management and industry, he will streamline Anambra finances through innovative revenue generation and accountability measures so that Ndi Anambra will for once get an overwhelming value for their money. This can only be possible with Dr Chido!
Therefore, we must take this patriotic step of bequeathing to Anambra a visionary leadership guaranteed to perform by voting for Dr Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose), CEO of Wichtech and the Governorship Candidate of the African Action Congress (the party with the Hand of God) this Saturday.
