The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim has described the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as a movement and a strong pillar.
The Deputy Governor disclosed this on Thursday, 13th April, 2023 in his country home, Ovollo, Mbaukwu, when some defected stakeholders from other political parties joined and were inducted into the family of APGA.
The defected stakeholders from other political parties were twenty-eight in number and were led by Chief Ozoemena Okoye, who is now a full member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). And in their separate speeches, they promised to support the party, support the Soludo-led administration and also support the government of Anambra State. Among them are High Chief Ozoemena Okafor, Chief Ekene Onyebuchi, Chief Tochukwu Nwafor, Chief Obiorah Dim, Mr. Chukwudi Emenia, Dr. Emeka Okafor, Dr. Comrade Paul Unegbu, Sir Chris Mbachi, Mr. Ifeanyi Chikwelu, Engr. Sunday Ekpeha, Chief Emeka Ekwealor, among others.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Tony Omeligwe Elee, the Anambra State Deputy Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) noted that the records of the party are not a storyline, but visible and verifiable enough to be told by supporters and critics alike.
The State Deputy Chairman Of APGA, Hon. Tony appreciated all the stakeholders that defected from other political parties and joined APGA. He described them as brave and also urged them to join in lifting the party, which he described in their usual slogan as Nkea bu nke anyi, Onye aghana nwanne ya, and also lift the government of Anambra State to a greater height.
