Anambra State Commissioner for Education Dismisses Allegations Of Collecting N300 Tax From School Children

The Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, has dismissed as untrue, the allegation that the Government of Anambra State is collecting tax of (N300), three hundred naira from school children in Anambra State.

In a statement, Commissioner Chuma-Udeh said that inorder to amiliorate hardship in the State, Government has reduced fees payable in schools from what it use to be.

Prof. Chuma-Udeh advised parents to report to her immediately any case of extortion of school children.
