ANAMBRA STATE DIASPORA AFFAIRS COMMISSIONER Monitors Hotels to Ensure Covid-19 Compliance.

The Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Indigenous Artwork, Culture and Tourism, Dr Christian Mmadubuko, has moved the monitoring exercise to Orumba Council Area, to ensure compliance with COVID-19 preventing measures aimed at checking the spread of the disease.

During the exercise, Dr. Mmadubuko expressed satisfaction with the management of some hotels in Amaokpala.

He applauded them for answering the ‘Aku Luo Uno’ call of the State Government  and promised government continued  support.

However, it was also observed that people in the area do not adhere strictly to the Covid-19 directives which the Commissioner’s entourage enforced.

Some of the hotels visited include: Lifestyle Hotel and Suites, Morren Kris Hotel and Suites, and Triple Tree Hotels all in Amaokpala in Orumba North Council Area.
