By Tony Olisa Mbeki,
[Abuja] – The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has applauded Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR; the Executive Governor of Anambra State and the National Leader of APGA, for his outstanding commitment to education and his recent allocation of 1.524 billion naira to mission schools in the state.
Barrister Ezeokenwa stated, “In line with the fundamental values and principles of APGA, Governor Soludo’s decision to invest significantly in education echoes APGA’s ideology of inclusive governance and sustainable development.”
“Education is the bedrock of any society, and by directing substantial resources towards mission schools, the Governor has once again demonstrated his unwavering dedication to transforming the educational landscape in Anambra State.”
The allocation of 1.524 billion naira to mission schools reinforces Governor Soludo’s understanding of the pivotal role these institutions play in the intellectual and moral development of our youth. This substantial financial support will help improve facilities, enhance the quality of education, and provide teachers with the necessary resources to deliver high-quality instruction.
The APGA National Chairman commended Governor Soludo for his visionary leadership, as always, just as he did implementing free education from primary to JSS3 without any hidden fees in Anambra State and urged other governors across Nigeria to emulate this remarkable example.
Barrister Ezeokenwa, therefore, called upon all stakeholders in the education sector, including teachers, parents, and students, to appreciate Governor Soludo’s commitment to their well-being and to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by this significant investment in education.
