At Least 8 Fire Incidents Recorded In Less Than 24 hours Across Anambra

At least 8 fire incidents were recorded in less than 24 hours in various parts of Anambra state, has said.

The State Fire Chief, Engr. Martin Agbili, made this known in a statement, on Sunday.
According to Agbili, the affected areas to include: Awka, Nnewi, Onitsha, Awka, Ogidi, Nise and Enugwu-Agidi.

Attributing majority of the inferno to carelessness of the victims, including indiscriminate bush burning,
He appealed to residents to avoid anything that could cause fire outbreak, urging them to uphold necessary safety tips and be fire safety conscious.

Appreciating his men and firefighters around the world for always being alert for all distress calls, he reassured of the Agency’s preparedness to continue to give their best to the people of the state.
