The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has transferred the controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, to the Force Criminal Investigation Department in Lagos after his arrest at the Seme border while attempting to flee the country.

NIS spokesperson Kenneth Udo described Bobrisky as a person of interest amid ongoing investigations. He spent the night in custody, and authorities are awaiting further directives regarding his case.

Bobrisky’s arrest follows allegations of bribery and influence-peddling, with a recent leak implicating him in a bribery scheme involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
