Boko Haram Terrorists Attack Police Station In Borno State.

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked the Jakana Police Station in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State in the early hours of Sunday.

The attack, which began around 1 am, resulted in the deaths of a police driver and a woman. The terrorists also burned two patrol vehicles and a motorcycle, and stole arms and ammunition. They engaged security forces for hours before fleeing. Jakana, located 35 km along the Maiduguri-Damaturu Road, has been a frequent pathway for insurgents.

The local council chairman confirmed the incident but could not provide full casualty details. As of the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the police spokesman were unsuccessful.
