Similarly, Mr Chike Ebede MD/CEO Ocean Might Global Synergy, has confirmed that Ebede Youths are basically sustaining the legacies left behind by their ancestors which includes philanthropy, job creation as exemplified by the children and grandchildren, giving instance of individuals like Chief Christian Ebede, his humble self and numerous others.
He revealed that apart from inter age grades football tournament he organises yearly, numerous other packages including scholarships, will be dolled out by the end of the year.
He also urged the wealthy and well placed individuals in the society to toe the path of philanthropsim to assist in alleviating the sufferings of the poor. He gave examples of human capital development in Umuawulu Community which could be traced to Chief Boniface Aniebonam’s philanthropsim which he affirmed that he benefitted from ,not minding that he is from.a different community.
On another note, he also expressed gratitude to all for their individual and collective efforts towards the successful burial of his late mother and prayed for God’s blessings upon them .
