Ekiti Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Attempting To Use 6-Year- Old Nephew For Money Ritual
Ekiti State Police Command, on February 14, 2025,
arrested one Solomon Fabiyi, for allegedly attempting to use his little Nephew, Jomiloju, for money rituals.
When interrogated, the 23 years old suspect who hails from Kwara state, but was born in Ekiti state, said a native doctor told him to provide someone to use to perform money rituals for him.
Solomon said the native doctors told him that they would perform the sacrifice in such a way that the person would not die but will live with an ailment for the rest of their life.
He, therefore, said he chose to present his nephew and that he intended to ensure that his nephew while battling with the ailment, will get education and ‘good life he deserves, while he gets the money from the sacrifice.
He said he lives with Jomiloju’s mother and helps to look after Jomiloju.
The Ekiti State Police spokesperson, Sunday Abutu, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect confessed to the crime and has been charged in court.
