
The English premier league is set to resume for the 2020/21 Premier League season today,the 12th of September 2020.
The EPL, considered to be the most bankable soccer league was delayed the previous season due to the covid 19 pandemic but eventually saw Liverpool clinch the trophy in record breaking fashion at its restart.
The new season is expected to begin with no fans in the stadium due to social distancing measures as Jurgen Klopp’s title winning Liverpool side take on Marcelo Bielsa’s newcomers Leeds in a Saturday night clash at Anfield on the opening day of the new term.
The first weekend of the new season will also see Leicester travel to West Brom and Tottenham host Everton in a Super Sunday double-header, before Brighton welcome Chelsea for the first Monday Night Football of the campaign.
West Ham’s will also go against Newcastle at the London Stadium on Saturday night.
