The management of the ‘Flying Antelope’, Rangers International Football Club has announced the postponement of the resumption date for returning and new players for the 2020/2021 league season.

The General Manager/CEO of the football club, Prince Davidson Owumi, gave the hint after a brief management meeting, disclosed that the postponement became necessary due to the announcement from Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,
NCDC, and the Presidential Taskforce, PTF, over the COVID-19 health protocols.

According to Prince Owumi, the earlier information at their disposal caused them to make the earlier announcement for players to return, but with further clarifications from NCDC and PTF, they were compelled to direct players against returning to the players’ camp, adding that players would return when they get clearance.
