Ezeike Nibo Celebrates 36 Years On The Throne

The boxing day December the 26th will remain for the people of Nibo, a special day to yearly celebrate their monarch. This year’s celebration which took place at Obu Ezeike and Civic Centre Nibo respectively in Awka South Local Government Area Of Anambra State was for the people of Nibo to celebrate the 2021 Ezeike day and 36 years on the throne of HRM Dr Sir MC Ngene

The ceremony started with an opening prayer in which after the arrival of HRM Eze Ugonwanne (Dr) Sir MC Ngene and his cabinet members, president general Nibo union, Chief Sir Innocent Akuvue ( Ochudo Nibo) and Nibo Chiefs with Igba Eze Nibo.

In his remarks, Ezeike Nibo thanked God for preserving his life to witness the 2021 Ezeike day and also to celebrate 36 solid years on the throne. He extolled his cabinet members for making it happen.

The palace secretary Ichie Chukwudi Nwosu, Chief Prof.Ọzọ Dave Nwobu and Kodili Enemuo in their Separate speeches described Ezeike IV of Nibo as a great father to all and sundry. They prayed for more wisdom, good health and longevity.

In his speech, Hon. Chief Prof.Ọzọ Dave Nwobu ( Ọzọ Ilokanụnọ N’Nibo) described 36 years on the throne of Ezeike IV of Nibo as a worthy celebration because he is a mentor and teacher to everyone around him. He prayed for good health and more wisdom for EZeike IV Nibo. He also prayed for all the Ezeike cabinet members especially the traditional prime minister of Nibo.

The event attracted well-meaning Nigerians and traditional rulers in the State.
Entertainment which includes cultural dance, masquerade displays, sumptuous foods and drinks were also served.
