Governor Obiano of Anambra state has called on illustrious Anambra sons and daughters to heed the Aku Luo Uno Call and bring back their resources to deepen the development of the state.
The Governor made the call in a statewide New year broadcast at his Aguleri Country on Friday.
According to Obiano, 2022 is a very important year for the state as it heralds a new beginning for Anambra.
He urged all to free their minds from bitterness and join hands to build a prosperous state, expressing hopes of a greater, more prosperous state in the new year.
Expressing delight that Anambra has become a great example for others, he recalled his administration’s strides in the year 2021 – including the commissioning of the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport and the Awka City Stadium, asserting optimism that the International Convention Center, Awka in particular will as well, be completed before March 2022.
