Hoodlums have killed a police inspector, Egu Omini attached to Ebonyi State Police Command.
The hoodlums also cut off the Inspector’s private parts and snatched his AK-47 rifle after attacking a police station in Abakaliki, the state capital on Thursday October 29,2020.
The hoodlums in their large numbers, armed with sophisticated weapons and objects suspected to charms, had invaded Central Polic Station (CPS), Abakaliki, setting it ablaze along with police patrol vehicles, exhibit vehicles, tricycles, motorcycles and other police property within the station premises.
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Loveth Odah, who confirmed various attacks on police stations, killing and injuring men of the Police Command and snatching their rifles across the state, said hoodlums who took to the streets of the state with evil intentions in the guise of #ENDSARS protesters were responsible for the various attacks.
Odah said that the hoodlums shot at the policemen gruesomely, murdered Inspector Omini and also cuts off his private parts after snatching his AK-47 rifle.
